Just a feeling

The little beams of sunlight you shed
Piercing through this cloudy screen in my face
Revealing to me happiness I’ve not seen
Joys and intimacies I have shared with none
But you.
The beautiful smiles you make
Embarrassing peals of naked laughter
That chase away the gloom that looms over me everyday
And eventually force me to show my teeth
All these are more than just emotions you arouse in me
More than my hairs standing at your touch
Or my tongue’s weakness in your presence
It is more, gripping me with more fear than fire
And I lack words to say what it is
So I say what it isn’t:
This not just a feeling my love.
