We miss you
Well I miss you, she
She plays around much
Tearing as much of my skin as she can
Till she sees the emptiness in my eyes
And stops for a moment
Seems to stare through
into the sadness within me
Looks at my lifeless arms that struggle to play
Into her childishness
And lays beside me
Tries to sleep
To dream
And maybe wake up when you
Are here
And we can all play
Like children
Till we all fall asleep
And snuggle each other through
The night
Wake up to another beautiful day
Together.
We miss you
Unlike me
She gets bigger every day
And unlike me
She eats
Even though we miss you.
